喺現代中國同鄰近國家用，語言學上有關聯、傳統上#漢字 書寫嘅語言、文字嘅統稱，可以包括由上古至現代多種書面文體同#口語 分支，但係唔包括借用漢字書寫嘅東亞語言（日文、韓文、越南文、壯文）；#華語、#華文 (Chinese language; Chinese / Sinitic languages; a collective term that refers to a group of linguistically related written and spoken languages used in China and nearby countries, traditionally written in Chinese characters (a.k.a. Honzi / Hanzi / Hanja / Kanji / Hán Tự / Sawndip) from ancient times to the present day, excluding East Asian languages that have borrowed the characters at some point, such as Japanese, Korean, Vietnamese and Vahcuengh)
