日頭

休即未能休，且待三更見日頭。

[I want to] rest but cannot rest, and [I] wait for the sun to appear in the third watch.

就是徼倖的這一年，正月初一日，我夢見在一個極高的山上，天上的日頭，不差不錯，端端正正掉了下來，壓在我頭上，驚出一身的汗；醒了摸一摸頭，就像還有些熱。

It just so happened that this year on New Year's Day, I dreamed that on a very high mountain, the sun in the sky was right above me, but it fell down on my head, and I sweated with fright. When I woke up, I rubbed my head, and it still seemed a little hot.

這樣就可以作你們天父的兒子；因為他叫日頭照好人，也照歹人；降雨給義人，也給不義的人。

That ye may be the children of your Father which is in heaven: for he maketh his sun to rise on the evil and on the good, and sendeth rain on the just and on the unjust.

透中晝日頭赤炎炎 無穿鞋踏置黏仔膠

At noon, when the sun is scorching, [she] steps on the asphalt without shoes on

佢夜晚同埋我哋係好似日頭一樣、我哋出外好似喺屋𨀣一樣、佢嘅眼唔瞓。

He is present with us at night the same as during the day. Whether at home or abroad, it is all the same: his eye does not sleep.

佢夜晚瞓覺，日頭起身，種子發芽生長，點解會噉樣，佢唔知。

And should sleep, and rise night and day, and the seed should spring and grow up, he knoweth not how.
